Here are this year’s must-watch horror films you won’t want to miss:

Based on Stephen King’s short story, The Monkey follows twin brothers Bill and Hal (played by Theo James) as they uncover their father’s old toy in the attic—only to trigger a deadly chain of events. If you loved Shaun of the Dead or The Cabin in the Woods, this mix of horror and dark comedy is for you.

Michael B. Jordan stars as twin brothers seeking a fresh start in their hometown. But something far more sinister is waiting for them. Dripping with period horror vibes, Sinners promises to be an atmospheric and chilling experience.

Based on the hit video game, Until Dawn follows a group of friends trapped in a remote mountain lodge, where every decision they make could mean life or death. With plenty of twists, intense scares, and brutal choices, this adaptation is set to be a nail-biting horror experience.

Over a decade since the last instalment, Final Destination is back! Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, this fresh take on the franchise sees Tony Todd reprise his iconic role as William Bludworth. Expect fate to be as cruel as ever in this bloodcurdling revival.

Danny Boyle and Alex Garland reunite for the long-awaited sequel to 28 Days Later. Details are tightly under wraps, but with Cillian Murphy producing and fresh horrors awaiting, this post-apocalyptic nightmare is set to be one of 2025’s most unmissable films.

The killer doll is back! Fresh from the breakout success of M3GAN in 2022, director Gerard Johnstone returns to unleash even more madness. With new danceroutines, fresh victims, and a whole lot of chaos, M3GAN 2.0 dials up the horror in true Blumhouse fashion to see just how dangerous AI can get.
