Time Hoppers: The Silk Road

Four gifted children accidentally travel back in time to the historic Silk Road, where they encounter an evil alchemist that is determined to erase the foundations of science. If he succeeds, great inventions like the camera, computer, and astrolabe will never be created! The kids will have to use all their wits to thwart his plans as the future of science and technology hangs in the balance.
